Where Winds Meet January Update Brings New Content

Everstone Studio has revealed its full roadmap for January 2026. The studio plans to expand Where Winds Meet with new content, features, and endgame activities.

Since launching on November 14, the free-to-play MMO has maintained strong player interest. This consistent engagement has pushed Everstone Studio to deliver frequent updates.

Strong Post-Launch Growth Continues

Where Winds Meet approaches its two-month milestone in January. The game already reached major player milestones shortly after launch.

In December, Everstone Studio expanded the game to mobile platforms. The team also released an update that increased the game world by more than one-third. Regular weekly updates now appear to be the standard.

Week 1 Starts With World Level Expansion

The Where Winds Meet January Update begins on January 4. Players can increase the Solo Play World Level to 10.

Solo Play Level governs progression through the main story. Level 10 unlocks the Unbound system, opening new challenges and progression paths.

January 4 also introduces Hero’s Realm: Sorrow of Mortalbound. This activity is a 10-player endgame mode designed for coordinated group play.

Week 2 Introduces Update 1.2

Week 2 begins on January 8 with the launch of Update 1.2. This update adds new Legacy Quests and unlocks the Kaifeng Campaign.

Players will also face a new World Boss called the Nameless General. A limited-time event, Jianghu Martial Games, will run alongside the update, offering fresh challenges and rewards.

New Region and Competitive Content Arrive

Update 1.2 also introduces the Nine Mortal Ways Base, a brand-new region for exploration.

Additional content includes Guild Battle Preseason activities, expanded Hero’s Realm content, and more endgame options. Everstone Studio aims to keep players engaged with weekly additions throughout the month.
