FromSoftware and Bandai Namco have officially unveiled Elden Ring Nightreign: The Forsaken Hollows, a massive new DLC expansion set to launch on December 4, 2025. The long-awaited expansion will be available across all platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

The announcement follows hints dropped by Kadokawa Corporation during its recent earnings call on November 6, where the company teased that new Elden Ring Nightreign content was in active development. Fans can now look forward to diving back into Limveld sooner than expected.

The Forsaken Hollows Unveiled at State of Play Japan

The reveal came during Sony’s State of Play Japan event, closing the show with a stunning 108-second trailer. The footage showcased eerie new environments, massive bosses, and gameplay that teases a darker tone than the base game.

The expansion will introduce a new area known as The Great Hollow, described as a shifting, living chasm that will challenge players to adapt their tactics against new environmental dangers.

Two New Nightfarer Classes Join the Battle

The Forsaken Hollows adds two fresh Nightfarer classes, each bringing unique abilities to Elden Ring Nightreign’s roguelike combat loop:

• Scholar – A class that specializes in Arcane mastery and battlefield awareness, using intelligence and precision to overcome enemies.

• Undertaker – A hybrid class blending Faith and Strength, designed for powerful close-range combat and aggressive frontline tactics.

Both classes are expected to redefine build variety and strategy across the game’s challenging boss encounters.

Expansion Details and Pre-Order Bonuses

Players who already purchased the Deluxe Edition of Elden Ring Nightreign will automatically receive The Forsaken Hollows for free. The Deluxe version, priced at $54.99, also includes a digital artbook and mini soundtrack as part of its pre-order bonuses.

Those with the base edition can purchase the DLC separately or via the Deluxe Upgrade Pack, now renamed The Forsaken Hollows.
