Fortnite May Be Getting a Home Alone Crossover for Christmas

Home Alone rumored to appear in Fortnite.

Fortnite Could Add a Classic Christmas Movie Collaboration

Fortnite is no stranger to holiday-themed content. Every year, Epic Games introduces festive skins and seasonal events. This Christmas, the game may collaborate with one of the most popular holiday movies of all time.

According to leaks, Fortnite could partner with Home Alone. The rumoured crossover would bring characters from the iconic film series into the battle royale. However, the collaboration may not include the character many fans expect.

Fortnite Already Has Plenty of Holiday Skins

Epic Games has built a strong lineup of Christmas cosmetics over the years. Some of the most popular holiday skins include:

  • Red-Nosed Raider

  • Crackabella

  • Sgt. Winter

  • Polar Peely

  • Winterfest Bushranger

  • Mr. Dappermint

  • Polar Patroller

Beyond original designs, Fortnite has also embraced holiday crossovers. Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas joined the game in 2023. That move showed Epic’s willingness to tap into classic festive franchises.

Leaks Suggest the Wet Bandits Are Coming to Fortnite

A new rumor suggests Fortnite may add Home Alone’s Wet Bandits. The leak comes from @blortzen, a source known for sharing reliable Fortnite information. Still, the leaker advised fans to treat the details cautiously.

If accurate, the crossover would feature Harry and Marv, the iconic thieves from the Home Alone movies. These characters remain fan favorites thanks to their slapstick humor and memorable on-screen mishaps.

Harry and Marv Could Fit Perfectly in Fortnite

Harry and Marv would translate well into Fortnite’s art style. Their exaggerated expressions and constant injuries match Fortnite’s cartoon tone. Players could easily recreate many of the duo’s famous failures in matches.

The Wet Bandits could also work well as NPCs. They might offer quests involving traps, damage recovery, or survival challenges. Some fans also hope the Home Alone house could appear as a point of interest, though only skins are rumored so far.

Why Kevin McCallister Likely Won’t Be Included

The biggest question surrounding the Fortnite Home Alone crossover is Kevin McCallister. Unfortunately, the leaker made no mention of Kevin joining the game. That suggests Epic may focus only on the villains.

Kevin’s absence makes sense from a gameplay perspective. Fortnite avoids extreme character size differences to keep hitboxes fair. Kevin is a child in the films, which would make his model far smaller than standard skins.

Epic has redesigned characters before, such as altering Peter Griffin’s proportions. However, giving Kevin an unrealistic redesign would feel awkward. Unlike sci-fi characters, Kevin lacks a logical reason to use a mech or suit.

Possible Release Window and Bonus Cosmetics

If the leak proves accurate, the crossover would likely arrive in late November or December. That timing would align perfectly with Fortnite’s Winterfest celebrations.

Kevin could still appear indirectly. A Talkboy back bling or themed cosmetic would allow Epic to reference the character without adding him as a playable skin. Still, the Wet Bandits would remain the centerpiece of the collaboration.

Fortnite’s holiday skins have always been a hit, so I can’t wait to see what they do with the *Home Alone* theme. If it’s true, I hope they give the Wet Bandits some unique animations or emotes—maybe even a ‘sticky bandit’ move!

The Wet Bandits have so much potential for fun emotes and animations. A “sticky bandit” move would be perfect if this crossover really happens!
