Where Winds Meet Is Adding Major New Content in December
Everstone Confirms Major Plans for December
Everstone Studios has revealed a full content roadmap for Winds Meet December Update, confirming that Where Winds Meet will receive major new additions. The game launched on November 14 and quickly became a massive hit for the studio.
The action RPG generated strong interest during early access and beta tests. Yet the official launch exceeded expectations. Within 24 hours, the game reached 2 million players and earned top-10 positions on Steam and PlayStation charts. That momentum continued, and Where Winds Meet hit 9 million players within two weeks.
Week 1 Brings New Jianghu Legacy Quests
Everstone began December with two new Jianghu Legacy quests. Players can now take on Twelve Years of Feuds and An Unholy Prophecy. These additions expand a quest system already known for offering strong rewards and useful abilities.
Legacy quests introduced at launch gave players impressive skills, including the power to fly. The two new quests follow the same pattern and expand the game’s depth.
Week 2 Adds Mobile Launch and New Zone
Starting December 11, Week 2 brings even bigger updates. The game will officially launch on mobile devices, opening another way to experience Where Winds Meet.
A major new zone called Roaring Sands arrives in the Kiang region. This area introduces a new campaign boss known as the River Master. This water-based boss appears with Feng Ruzhi, creating a difficult duo fight that matches the difficulty of the game’s strongest encounters.
Week 2 also adds two limited-time activities and introduces the new Velvet Shade sect.
Weeks 3 and 4 Add PvE Trials and a 10-Player Raid
The content rollout continues through the end of the month. From December 21, players can join the Scarlet Shock Sword Trial, a repeatable PvE mode designed for farming targeted gear.
The same day, a new Hero’s Realm event goes live. Named Blazing Gale Dance, it is a cooperative 10-player raid-style challenge offering fresh objectives and rewards.
Finally, on December 30, Everstone will host a special Fireworks Festival, giving players a festive way to close out 2025.
More Features May Arrive in the Future
Everstone has shown clear dedication to expanding Where Winds Meet through player feedback and long-term planning. The studio is already experimenting with larger systems, including a vehicle-building feature similar to the crafting mechanics in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
This feature is currently available only in the Chinese version. Players can use materials such as wood to build customized vehicles. A global release date has not been confirmed, but early previews suggest it could become one of the game’s most creative systems.
