ARC Raiders Players Are Running Into Server Issues
ARC Raiders Servers Facing Connection Problems
ARC Raiders players are reporting widespread server issues. Many users are getting stuck in queues or disconnected from matches. Embark’s Community Manager confirmed in the official Discord that the team is actively investigating the issue.
Game’s Early Success Causes Heavy Server Load
The new extraction shooter has quickly gained traction in the gaming community. While it’s unclear if the problem stems from server overload, ARC Raiders recently passed 300,000 concurrent players on Steam. Considering its launch on October 30, the surge in traffic may be stressing the servers.
Embark Acknowledges the Problem
According to ARCRaidersNews on X, Embark has identified problems with the servers, voice chat, and party system. Players are being disconnected mid-match and forced into solo queues with crossplay off. Embark’s latest update confirms fixes are being tested.
ARC Raiders Competes with Top Titles
Despite these server setbacks, ARC Raiders remains one of Steam’s top games. It currently ranks just behind Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, and Battlefield 6. The fact that ARC Raiders is not free-to-play makes its player count an even bigger achievement.
Awaiting Fix and Possible Compensation
Embark has not provided a timeline for when the ARC Raiders servers will be back to normal. There’s also no confirmation if players will receive compensation for downtime. Until then, players can explore ARC Raiders’ map layouts or revisit the best strategies for the Rust Belt region.
