PS Plus Subscribers Are Losing 2 More Games in October 2025

PS Plus October 2025 – Games leaving from catalog

PlayStation has confirmed that two more games will be removed from PS Plus this October. The latest departures include The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes and The Devil in Me. These story-driven horror titles from Supermassive Games will leave the catalog alongside other games already scheduled for removal.

Back in September, the “Last Chance to Play” section revealed that four games would be leaving. These include Battlefield 1, Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, Tour de France 2023, and the PSVR2 game The Last Clockwinder. Their removal makes space for upcoming additions across the Extra and Premium tiers.

Originally, only four exits were confirmed. However, the updated list now shows six departures in total. The timing is unfortunate, as fans may have wanted to replay The Dark Pictures Anthology before Directive 8020 launches early next year.

All Games Leaving PS Plus in October 2025:

  • Battlefield 1 (PS4)

  • Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed (PS4, PS5)

  • Tour de France 2023 (PS4, PS5)

  • The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes (PS4, PS5)

  • The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me (PS4, PS5)

  • The Last Clockwinder (PSVR2)

Although six games are leaving, subscribers still have plenty to look forward to. This month, PS Plus is giving away Alan Wake 2 for PS5, Goat Simulator 3 for PS4 and PS5, and Cocoon for both platforms. These titles can be claimed from October 7 and will remain free as long as the subscription stays active.

On top of this, PlayStation has added The Last of Us Part 2 and its remastered version to the Extra and Premium catalogs. The announcement came during the September State of Play, making October a strong month for new content despite the losses.

Oh no, the Extra and Premium tiers are getting a bit of a spring clean, arent they? Six departures – oof! Losing *The Dark Pictures Anthology* just in time for Directive 8020 is peak scheduling. But hey, lets not wallow! PS Plus is still throwing out Alan Wake 2 and Goat Simulator 3 like party favors this month, starting October 7th. Cant beat free games, even if the leaving list is getting longer. Adds like *The Last of Us Part 2* also brighten the day.

Yeah, losing six games is tough, especially House of Ashes and Devil in Me right before Directive 8020. But with Alan Wake 2, Goat Simulator 3, and The Last of Us Part 2 joining PS Plus, October is still looking stacked!
