Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Update 1.1.4 Released

Metal Gear Solid Delta Update 1.1.4 patch

Konami has launched Update 1.1.4 for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, fixing language and voice line issues reported by players.

The remake of the 2004 classic has been rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5 and has impressed both newcomers and long-time fans. Despite Hideo Kojima not being involved, the game was received as a strong entry point for new audiences.

Previous Updates and Fixes

Earlier, Update 1.1.3 was released to address several issues. It introduced an inverted camera option and corrected rewards tied to GA-KO collectibles. Game crashes were also reduced through that patch, ensuring smoother play sessions for users.

Update 1.1.4 continues this trend of smaller but important patches. While no major gameplay changes were included, stability and immersion improvements have been prioritized by Konami.

Key Fixes in Update 1.1.4

Patch 1.1.4 has focused on voice line problems affecting Snake. Some dialogue lines were delivered in English despite other languages being selected. In certain cutscenes, Snake’s voice shifted between Japanese and English, creating immersion-breaking moments.

These bugs have now been resolved on Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam versions of the remake. Since Metal Gear Solid 3 is known for its iconic dialogue, preserving accuracy was seen as critical. Fans can now revisit the story without language errors affecting key cutscenes.

Looking Ahead

The remake launched in late August and continues to receive refinements. Updates remain smaller in scale but vital for polish. Konami is expected to monitor community feedback and release further fixes where needed.

For newcomers, these patches ensure the classic experience is faithfully delivered with modern upgrades intact. For veterans, the update restores confidence in the remake’s dedication to the original vision.
